Health department to offer First Aid Course

Adams County Health Department is offering a first aid class for interested community members on Tuesday, May 6, at 6 p.m. at the Adams County Public Works Building, 210 West Alder Avenue.

The Medic First Aid - Pediatric Program class includes basic first aid skills plus CPR and airway management of the infant, child and adult.

The certificate earned is good for two years and meets standard requirements for most jobs, but it does not include water rescue. The class requires a minimum of six participants with a maximum class size of 12.
