Relay For Life team collecting cell phones

The Wheatland Bank Relay For Life team, $Dollar Diva’s, is collecting used cell phones for recycling through the American Cancer Society. Cell phones that are collected are a donation toward the American Cancer Society. Each phone is worth a certain amount, determined by the model.

Wheatland Bank collects the cell phones and sends in the phones to a cellular recycler, which will send a check directly to the American Cancer Society.

Anyone with cell phones that are no longer in use may drop the phones off at the bank on the corner of First Avenue and Division Street or at the Ritzville Library. For more information, contact Becky Main at Wheatland Bank, 659-0330, or at home, 659-0563.
