City wants old high school buttoned up

Mayor Linda Kadlec told the city council Tuesday that the owner of the old high school was being notified that there are issues with his building that must be addressed.

The most common issue arises from the lack of covering over some of the old school’s vacant windows.

The owner, she said, “needs to clean up the safety issues.”

City Clerk/Treasurer David Grove confirmed that he has been in contact with the building owner’s manager who is responsible for maintenance.
