Pet Rescue benefit planned at city park

Ritzville’s Girl Scouts will team up with Pet Rescue for a benefit event in the city park on Saturday, April 26.

Tuesday the city council granted the two groups permission to conduct a fund-raising effort in the park that will include a “swing-a-thon.” According to the discussion, the groups will host a barbecue and pets will be available for adoption during the event.

Additional details of the event will be available during the next couple of weeks.
