Kickoff jumpstarts Ritzville's Relay For Life

Organizers of the 2008 Ritzville Relay For Life invites everyone – families, caregivers, cancer survivors, schools, companies, etc. – for a kickoff rally on Monday, March 24, at the Ritzville Elementary School cafeteria starting at 7 p.m.

The kickoff celebration will get the season started with this informative and inspirational rally where people will learn about Relay For Life, the American Cancer Society and join in the planned activities.

Topping the evening is an assortment of food and decorations representing this year's event, Taking A Holiday From Cancer.

Teams that register at the kickoff will get the early bird discount for $75. Registration is $100 per team after the kickoff event.

The 2008 Ritzville Relay For Life is set for Friday and Saturday, Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. to Aug. 16 at 10 a.m., at the Ritzville High School track/football field.
