Classic comedies on tap for

newest RCT performances

FIRE IN THE HOUSE. The cast of “The Still Alarm” strikes a pose during a recent rehearsal in preparation for the opening of the Ritzville Community Theatre group’s spring performances on March 6. The cast includes (left to right) Anna Schwartz as “Edwina,” Kathryn Schafer as “Roberta,” Ray Meyer and Ben Malby as the “firemen,” and Heather Carruth as the “bellhop.”

The lights will hit the stage and the cast of characters will set to work on March 6, when the Ritzville Community Theatre group launches its spring performances.

This year the March dinner theater will feature a side splitting pair of classic comedies, giving audiences more than a couple of reasons to chuckle. The group will present “The Still Alarm” by George S. Kaufman and “The Trysting Place” by Booth Tarkington.

The show dates are March 6-9 and March 15-16. Tickets for the performances are on sale now at the Circle T Inn.

On March 6 and 9, the dinner theater will feature a lasagna dinner and dessert for $15. On March 7-8 and March 15, a full course meal will be served during the performance and tickets are $30 per person. A special dessert only performance is planned on March 16 for $10. Performances on March 6-8 and March 15 will be held at 6:30 p.m. Performances on March 9 and 16 are slated for 4 p.m.
