Johnstone joins school board

The Washtucna School District Board of Directors recently appointed Wayne Johnstone to fill the unexpired Position No. 3 seat vacated by Cindi Lepper.

The board interviewed three candidates before selecting Johnstone for the position. Lepper’s resignation was accepted by the board at the Dec. 10, 2007, meeting.
